Asteroids Restoration

Hey,

 I was starting an Asteroids Restauration some month ago. I got the Asteroids from cebulba. He had no time doing the restauration so he gave it in my hands.

This is my blog filtered on asteroids posts.

First I was working on the electronics. I got help from Speleo, Level42, Winni and some others  :spaceace: Thanks a lot :)

Current state of electronic work is :

- A borrowed PCB is working, my PCB is under repair.
- Deflection Board : Connectors resoldered, replaced some damaged potis. OK
- PSU : replaced a fuse. OK
- ARII Board : OK
- Harness : Replaced game connector
- Speaker : connected the harness ;) OK
- tube : some burns, but ok
- Game works :)

The scan is done and on the way to etienne :) Nevertheless I`ll try fist those dirt rubbers recommended by Andre. 8)

I`m still looking for a bezel adhensive foil. The control panel will replaced with the KLOV reproduction run. The buttons needs some cleaning, too.

The deal was that I keep it in change of another cab or some other stuff. So it will stay in my collection and I`m really looking forward to play it once it`s finished :)

Today I`ve scanned the missing sticker in Etienne sticker collection and gave it to him for vectorizing.
