Centipede Cabaret - should I get side art for it?

Yes, it will make it a more complete and cooler Centipede Cabaret!
7 (43.8%)
No, it came from the factory without the side art, so it better stay that way!

If you look beneath the controlpanel, i.e open it, and also take a look in the coinbox, you will find some cones...

Hehe, thanks dimmu. I found those - eventually.

Thing is, though - and this might be very purist - I want the LED buttons that came with the cab originally. And I just won myself some at ebay. \:D/

Gyruss: there _is_ side art available over at gameongrafix, but I'll have to make up my mind whether I think it looks cooler with or without it. Apparently, back in the day, the operators could send a card to Atari and order the side art as an extra. The side art is cool though. Hm. What do you guys think? Keep it as it is or install side art?

edit: Ah, what the hell, let's add a poll!  ;D

Yeah, it is a factory thing, even though the operators needed to order it separatly (not sure if they had to pay for it).

As you probably know cabarets were meant to "blend in" in surroundings that are not like arcades and thus came with the famous woodgrain.

Your gameroom is more like an arcade though, not a restaurant or other place where you want to "hide" the cabinet in the surroundings.

I would definitly do it.

Read somewhere  on KLOV that the OP had to pay extra for the sideart if he wanted it - and that´s why it´s so rare, coz no one did....
I def. think you should slap it on there!!! - they made it for a reason!

And the Centi on the black background looks extra cool. IMHO they should have done the upright sides black too..
