Marquee Lighting
« on: January 24, 2012, 10:37:22 AM »
I'm having problems with fixing the lighting on my Space Invaders Part 2 upright. I have replaced the tube, starter and the ballast... still nothing. Can anyone help me please? What am I doing wrong?

I have made sure that I am using the correct voltage (110v), and bought my ballast from Oliver Starmann in Germany. He's the guy that supplies American Jukebox supplies. Nice guy.

Any help is would be appreciated.

Si

are you sure you're feeding 110V into the fixture? have you measured voltages?

I read what was on the old ballast and replaced it. I don't have a multimeter... perhpas I should learn how to use one. What's your advice?

Yeah, maybe you have a cut or disconnected  wire, you can easily check it with a multimeter.

Brilliant Etienne. I like the phrases "it wasn't me" or "it was like that when I got it". Can you guys recommend a multimeter? I don't think I've messed it up by replacing like for like.  :-\

Is the starter confirmed to be suitable for 110V and your wattage?
