I should be able to help you with those - 1/4 inch diameter and 3/4 inch long? 2 of those and 4 nuts?
Paul.
Great ! I am not 100% sure about the length yet though...hope KLOV forum can offer some help...

....the thing is that it looks like the manual mixes two lengths. I have to measure the one's I currently do have as I think they are the same length AFAIKS. Also will have to put the CP on the cabinet to se how everything should fit. This is one of the rare moments an Atari manual has let me down so far.....

I will measure and let you know this afternoon. It's probably going to be 1 1/4" or 1 3/4" length.

Yeah this really came out amazing! Fantastic work up until now. Keep going! :)
`Contrariwise,' continued Tweedledee, `if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic.'

Thanks Ully ! Not as good as your Canon, but not too shabby ;)

Paul, the carriage bolts should be 1 3/4" long.

If you need to buy a pack of ten or something like that I will take them all, always handy to hae these on stock.
I'll need nuts that will fit on these too....and if possible washers but I guess I can use some metric ones that come close enough too.

Thanks guys !

Little update:

http://youtu.be/ks5COSKAj4I

As you can see the 2nd mission light isn't working. Turns out the transistor is kaputt....

Also, for the good viewer, you can see there are differences between the cone buttons. The left- and right are Likon's, the others Cherry's and they produce a different light color and appearance.....
I also don't have the nuts for them (the Cherry's) so they extend too far out.

But that'll all be fixed. The lamps get damn hot.......I might change my mind to change these to LED's.....don't want the mission light bezel to "melt"....

Anyway, looking good !!! Everything functions fine I'd say ! :)

Cool that the lights work!
a transistor replacement is an easy fix for you  ;)

Love it how you land the lunar lander without monitor  ;D

Now i dont want to be negative, but is the cpo not accurate ?

The other side looks fine to me , only this button looks out of the center ???
looks like you need to take out the roundfile, the cone will cover it, and you can center it  ;)

Well, the are two thing:

1) the holes allow a little (but enough) poisitioning and since I still need the nuts (or washers) to get the button to get lower I didnt fix it very accurately. In fact, I can't fix it good at all, the thread is too short without the nut/washer.

2) Check out pics of original LL CP's. This is a factory "error". Remember the CPO was reproduced from the original films from Atari.

If its a factory error, then its original, and should stay there  ;)

Indeed !

If someone treats me to the Bob Roberts G05 adapters I would be playing as soon as those arrive......

Hell...gonna order them.....what's 50 bucks more on a 1000+ euro game.....

Still want to fix the original monitor though.....and I might get lazy on that if it would be working with my "spare" G05-802.....

I won't :P

Was at work today so I brought the to Asteroids hacked LL pcb to read out the EPROMs.
The very first turned out to have a missing leg. It was broken off so close to the body that it is practically unrecoverable. Tried to read it but got all FF's.

However, the other 3 were fine and I compared all three images on http://romident.coinopflorida.com and it gives this info:

asteroidb   Asteroids (bootleg on Lunar Lander hardware)   035143ll.b1

So...not sure if this is the set Paul uploaded earlier or if it came from somewhere else, but this maybe another indication that it's a bootleg after all.

Anyway, I have found and downloaded this ROM set (after all, I am legally entitled to it :) ) so I can burn the bad EPROM and maybe see if it will be a bit closer to running...
