I remember endless nights of playing it with friends.
We were all in the same room with our computers so that was even better.
The ultimate humiliation was to be killed by a crowbar especially if you had powerful weapons  ;D

Played it only a short while in single player, I sucked at it and never made it passed those spiders on that elevator.....

Did loads of UT lan-gaming though BITD....long days and nights and lotsa pizza !!!

Now that wants me to play Unreal (single player) again. And the first one, nothing else. I LOVED the atmosphe in that game. That was probably what set it apart from Quake back then. It had beatyfull calm sceneries inbetween levels. Apart from that it managed to scare the shit out of me (that had only happened before with Rescue on Fractalus on the A8) sometimes.

Another brilliant thing about it was that there was actually a level still to be played after beating the end-boss.....and in a brilliant way (all lights out on the mothership :):):))

Damn, I guess these games can now already be named classics and retro-games :)

You just made me wanna play UT too!
I finished Half-Life back in teh days, I remember being stuck in that underground train station for a long time tough.
There was a great story it so I wanted to know what was coming next, and I admit the mysterious G-man that kept coming scared me a bit.

Half life 1 is brilliant, untill.......  yes you are on those stupid planets..

As soon as i hit the teleporter to those stupid planets, i quit the game  :-\

Anyway, Halflife 2 was cool, but too "new" for me

Cant wait though untill Blackmesa Source is ready though..

I loved Quake, Quake 1 then, 2 was fun, but the atmosphere of 1 is unbeatable
same as Unreal, super game , also fantastic music!
