@ Etienne: WonderUlly kindly provided me a repro CPO for the widebody.
@ Pieter: no prob, I'm just waiting for some news from a few scrapbooking shops here in Belgium, otherwise I'll order them via either ebay or that french shop.
Can we start a scrapbooking section on this forum ?  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Count me in, (als ik jullie niet teveel voor de voeten loop ;)). I really want to see how you apply the sticker and if it's something for my ms pac.

Do you know how to operate a videocam ?

Andre and me can do some technical talk, and chris is there for the humoristic quotes  ;)

Deal.
I'm gonna order the magical product via amazon UK and have it shipped to my mother in law's place in Oxford.
She should be visiting us in Belgium around November.
A: waiting that long is still OK for you?
B: who wants a bottle? it's £8.25 + shipping.
I can order and dispatch it later in November.

Yeah I guess I'll take a bottle, hope it works as advertised....

I made a list of parts that the cab needs and the status of it in the first posting. If anyone can help with the parts, please let me know.

A little update:
I received an original Joystick from the US (thanks to Peter on the KLOV forum, incl. it's harness.

So funny: I never paid any attention to the Q*bert stick until I saw Bruno's lovely cab at Eurocade. I thought it looked exactly like a mini version of the Suzo sticks.
So...when I receive it I looked under it, and sure enough it said :STC ROTTERDAM"  (STC meant Suzo Trading Company).

Funny to know this has been produced around the corner about 30 years ago and is now "back" home :)
It also explains why it's such a great stick :P

See the list in the first posting for further updates...

Piccy of the stick before Peter sent it to me:

He was nice enough to fully clean it AND put new hardware on it. He also shipped some bonus leaf button holders !!!

Very cool that it's a dutch product. Are there any other besides the philips monitors?

Well the Philips is a total rarity of course. And although Suzo produced lots of arcade related stuff, this is the very first time I see one of them used in an original classic game.

Since the vas majority of game makers then were from the US and Japan, they al had the tendency to use their own products or at least from their own country. Sometimes a mistake, as the Suzo's are one of the best joysticks around. But you can't fault joysticks like for Galaxian or the Pac games either.

Is un-du the same as adhesive glue remover? In Holland we have 'stickerverwijderaar' (sticker remover), available at drugstores like the ETOS, DA etc. I used it a lot, it's great to work with.

HG also has a sticker remover product.

Yes I was curious to try that particular brand (Un-du) because it is supposed to be non damaging to the sticker, not leave a greasy stain and supposedly it also allows you to reuse the removed sticker... more when I'll receive the stuff  ;)

Watch the videos and if they are true you see that this is not comparable to regular sticker remover.
