Some updates for you. The new Stern pinball will be..... Transformers !

Yugh. I hate Transformers. I guess I was already to old when they first saw the light of day....

BUT....today there was a new teaser picture on Stern's facebook:



the caption reads:

son vs. dad

and it's sitting on top of some kind of transformers box or something.

Soooo....are they testing the water if another SW pinball would be welcomed or is it a done deal....more here:

I want a new Star TREK pinball. Hell, I want a new Star Trek everything. 

I must say that I'm quite fond of Transformers, I'm just a few years younger and it really is something from my youth. I think the Transformers pinball will be a little out of my price league though

By the way, did you notice the copyright sign of that video ? Leidseplein Press B.V. , a Dutch company ! (Leidseplein is some square in a city they call our capitol while our government isn't even there.....).

Looks like they have the rights to the AC/DC name.....

Angus Young lives (or lived) in the Netherlands so I wouldn't be surprised to find that name in the shareholders.

They've actually gone for custom art instead of the usual photoshopping they do, that's a massive improvement, Looking forward to this one.

Don't know.....that face on the play field with the weird look constantly staring at you......that looks way too big IMHO.

I still see a lot of photo-shopped artwork though...

I didn't say I wanted that face staring at me but it's an improvement over the other franchises where it was one big photoshop comp, at least now there's some actual art like back in the day, even if they still have photos mixed in.

Obviously cartoon franchises like Family Guy are all art but that's different.

Then again, back in the day they could do the ugly photo thing pretty well too:
