I shouldn't blame the monitor for the color problem.
A monitor color issue (missing or malfunctioning basic color) will affect all the colors on screen while I see a good white and white uses red, green and blue.

oke thnx for clearing that one out then. ;)

i was just looking at mikesarcade.com at the pinouts for crazy kong.
so i just wanted to look if they the same as my board.
but i mis some wires i think not sure do.
http://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/spies.cgi?action=url&type=pinout&page=CrazyKong.txt

on component side 8 and solder side j, it says gnd
but there no wires on there on my board.
can you look on your cab Etienne if you got ground wires on those pins, then i know for sure ;)

I'd rather investigate the video output stage of the pcb, specially the color proms.

gona check that part, after i know if i need the ground wire.

thnx for the input ;)

I think its internally connected to the ground on the PCB
i dont have the cab in my house here, so to really verify that, i need to visit my mother...

I think its internally connected to the ground on the PCB
i dont have the cab in my house here, so to really verify that, i need to visit my mother...

I did have my two spare boards in my house, and also the converter connector that i have received with the board from Andre,

so i took out the board and checked my theory, and my thoughts where right:

pin 8 does not have a wire connected at the connector as you can see, and on the board the trace goes to a connectionpoint that goes through the board to the other side..

folowing the trace from that connection you see that it goes to points A, B, C, D, and H, which are all ground

The solderside of pin 8 is H and is connected to ground as you can see.

the pinout in the link does not mention "G" and "I", they skipped them, so in fact in the point H = J in the pinout

EDIT:

to be more clear, i adjusted the picture with the letters from the pinout :

Hope that clears things up  ;)

also the proms.

Now i tryd to search if there some pcb for sale, theres one on ebay 50 euro, but not know if it works.
and i found this site http://www.andysarcade.net/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=1722
it looks like a original board,i dont know what the value of those boards is,so is that a good price or.

CK pcb is not rare and very often can be found on ebay, as you have already seen.
The definition of 'good price' is really hard to be written, what I consider too expensive can be a fair price for another guy.
My suggestion is to apply following law.

ARCADE COLLECTOR PCB PURCHASE LAW
There's an inverse proportionality between the price you would pay for a PCB and the time you would spend to find it.
My gameroom: asteroids , asterock, canyon bomber, cascade, condor, circus, crash, defender, dribbling, missile command, invasion, pole position II cockpit, rally, zun zun block (ur/ck), star trek 25th anniversary (pinball)
Wanted: robotron, zookeeper

yea that makes sense.

update about the bezel
After some e-mails with thorsten, and a verry nice price for the bezel, its sold.
sending it to me,is risky i think, sinds its glass
or have ppl done it before.
otherwise i need to make a 600 km drive..
And maybe i can get a new CK pcb ;D
Think im gona order this joystick http://www.arcadewinkel.nl/controle-onderdelen/joysticks-en-accessoires/4-8-way-joysticks/competition-joystick-zwart.html#
So basicly i have the main parts, stil need some smal stuf ,but that wil come over time.
So verry soon its time 2 break the cab down, and build it up again
Also my cab is standing in my livingroom,if it dark the front painting looks nice, but wen the sun shines on it,it looks terrible
so basicly im after the color code so i can paint it again,i search google but cant find any.
If i cant find the code, then i just need to take me control panel to the paint shop, and hope they can make somthing out of that.

It had 2 versions, the bigger cabs had bended plexi and the smallers (like yours) had flat glass.
