Oh that's an EXCELLENT choice Arcadegek!
Another one of my dreamcabs (thank God I have so many ;))
I'm sur the electro pro here can help you bringing it back to life.
If you need anything on the graphic side (though I think everything has been reproduced already), I'm totally OK to help, so don't hesitate to ask!

Thx for the tips Chris! :) I think I could use both help. The photo's looking good, but when you look closely the cab has several weak spots where the wood is gone. Little peaces which are left in some garage or cellar past the years. So it realy needs new wood and artwork to bring it back to it's original shape and looks, but sofar i'm happy I have all the metal peaces and measurements.

Nice that you took it out of that "garage"...  ;)

Nice roadtrip! And I noticed that you eventually came to an agreement and bought this cab for yourself  ;)

Sort of OT, Etienne, but does the HP 4670 you used do a good job scanning through glass?  I tried scanning a couple of bezels with mine and can't seem to get it to "focus" through the thickness of the glass/plexi :(  It's been great for sideart, etc.  :)

Yeah I like the side art aswell, can't wait to start working on it! But I guess it will be somewhere in the summer, I first have to start with our Kitchen! Anyway it's a good thing I have some time, so I can find all the restoration stuff for it

Yes, i know what you mean, i have the same "through" glass, but the scans have enough resolution for handtracing in Illustrator, wich is the more precise way to do it if you ask me
more work, true, and some parts is better with auto trace, but to use it "under" the vector while tracing / placing parts in your vector its more than suitable
