I've got an interesting phone call:Defender and Zaccaria Dodgem!!!

A friend of mine called me today, that he bought some pinballs and he took also 2 arcade machines.
I couldn't believe it 100% when he told me the titles, I'm starting to a 10 km. long roadtrip now.

Both cabinets have a built in Atari 2600, the Defender is working with an Asteroids cartridge, lol! ;D ;D ;D
The Dodgem has a monitor fault, but as I see for the first check all the pcbs are there in both cabinets.

I've got a bigger car since I took that Quasar, but still not big enough ;D

The guy also took these 2 old pins, I like that James Bond:




If you can take a closer look at the Defender's cp it has an extra joystick on the right, but the cabinet is in great condition, sidearts are almost perfect, bezel and marquee are mint without any scratch.
The Dodgem's marquee unfortunately has a horizontal crack, otherwise it's also nice and it's a super rare Zaccaria! ;D

But I always have to put the cabs on their side because of the relative low entry....

GREAT CATCH by the way you lucky b..... :)

You must have pleased the arcade gods by rescuing some of those cabs from that "warehouse" a while ago.....

And two free 2600's to boot ! ;)

That joystick is hacked in pretty badly on that Defender, but nothing that can't be restored....

Dodge'm is really a classic for me, I remember playing it (or one of the other likewise games) in the late 70's....and another Zaccy for your collection !!!

Regarding the DODGEM...:
Very Rare - There are no known instances of this game owned by one of our members.
Maby some new pictures of the beast is in order??  :) :)

There are no pics of the upright Space Pirate either....but submitting pictures is (or was?) pointless. I've uploaded a number but they were never published.

wo-haaaaaa - what a catch! another zaccaria added to your collection along with the damn-freaking-hard-almost-impossible-to-play defender! just fabulous. have a look at those sizes: defender is a BEAST when compared to the zaccaria cab :twisted:

Yeah , the "other" raider of the lost zacc is back from a mission  ;)

And what a mission !, Dodgem!, very rare, so its a great addition to the zacc collection !

I've never received a call from a friend telling me he has 2 cool arcades for me  :)
...and it's excellent that these 2 nice pieces landed in your hands too.
You never know what you're going to find in the bottom of old cabs, sometimes coins, sometimes old ataris  ;)

What James Bond movie does it refer too? Looks much more interesting to watch than the more recent ones...
