Cursing in the church: Sony PSP
« on: January 11, 2011, 08:26:55 PM »
Hi Guys,

At the end of the year tombola I was the winner of a Sony PSP. (Un)fortunately there where no games with it...

My question to you: What games could you guys recommend for me?

I thought about Namco Museum, but that is about the only one I thought would be fun. I would really like to hear from the pro's here! :)
LOOKING FOR: a license to print money.....

And a Pacman. And a Donkey Kong.

Get Metal Gear, God of War, Killzone, LittleBigPlanet and GTA.
The graphics of the system are quite nice but the game library kinda sucks, apart from the above mentioned games.

I'm going for the Nindendo 3DS, same quality graphics but 3D and with nintendo games.  :spaceace: :spaceace:

Well, the DS would be my weapon of choice as well, since there are a lot of games for it. But, let's not look the horse in it's... A PSP it is... Now, I'm not to mad about the first person shooters, but UG&G and GTA sound pretty okay I guess. Let have a look at where I can find them for little... After all, I'm stil dutch.... :D

Can't you jailbreak it? That way you could install lot's of emulators.

I used to have one too, but i don't know what's the deal with the firmware on the newer models.

And yes, the 3DS is going to be great, have you seen this little trick:

Ain't gonna work... It is the PSP3004, no succesful hack available at the moment... So guess I have to buy a few this time...

That is not quite true:
http://www.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?158961-HEN-for-6-31-and-6.35-Relased!

Besides, as you may know, the 'software check sign' keys or whatever they are called for both the PS3 and the PSP have just recently been cracked 100%, which means that it will not be for long before a Jailbrake (PS3) or CFW or HEN (PSP: http://www.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?158903-PSP-Revived) isn't necessary anymore >> Everything will be playable on both the PS3 and the PSP.

It's too bad actually because it will probably mean the end of the PSP, and the future of the PS3 could also be effected.

CFW is for homebrew (and having Linux on a PS3), illegal stuff is of course not allowed.
