I've both in French (The History Of Nintendo Vol.1 & Vol.2), and I can tell you ... great books! Must have for any Nintendo Fans!!!

I recently got Vol. 1, in English, and it is indeed a must have for Nintendo fans. Can't wait for vol. 2  ;D

Thanks for the tip Erik.

Got my copy of the English version last week. What a nice little book it is. Some great research by the author(s) and some really nice anekdotes. Still not as good as the history of video-games (I consider that one to be my bible) but it has a different angle so probably I shoudn't compare them...

Yes, it's a great read. The book about the LCD game & watch games will probably also be very nice. I hope they will publish the English version soon.

If I look at the preview pages, the design looks like the French book by Steve Schneider. Did they hire the same layout guy?
