is that a normal price for a pong?

Edit: look at the other cabs he's selling, everything is near mint, very nice but way too expensive for my wallet..

Define: normal

Rare + Highly Wanted + Nice Condition = Expensive

Add to that that it's in the UK and you'll have to add 20% of what we would "expect".

I wouldn't ever pay that for a machine.

You can also get this for a couple of Euro's and have the same game experience:

;)

Of course, Pong is one of the milestones in arcade history and as such a desirable machine. Even though the gameplay is fun for a while with 2 people it's not a game with the most brilliant gameplay ever and I would need to have a game that is one I will return to again and again and again.

I'm sure buying a PONG in US, then ship it to Europe will be cheaper than that price.
Of course, you'll have to worry about customs, collecting, packaging or other 'shipping oversea' stuff...
I seen very often PONG for sale in US for 'only' few hundred dollars.
Fortunately for me, I already have one  ;D

Actually its not a bad idea,
Score also a black / white tv on marktplaats for a few euro's and visit your local DIY store for some wood..

That unit is ready to go, its made for a standard TV and it has the potmeters already separated from the unit ..  what else do you want  :D

i can make you one that almost looks identical including alustickers for less than 200€ i think  ;D

OOOOOOOOOO, that little BW TV was the first monitor for my Atari 600 XL !!! :)

I say monitor because some friend hacked in a direct video input to it so I had a razor sharp picture :):)

Great idea Etienne....the only thing missing is the coin handling .... ;)
