Too bad the cpo is also hacked and the monitor isn't working. Otherwise i would be very interested, there is still a small empty space in my game room, this would fit perfectly.

The CPO is not that hacked: one atari cone button + one trackball and you're good to go.
the main thing is: no MC pcb.
still a good super nice price so far... mmmh tempted...
(I have a weak spot for both MC, Asteroids and Battle Zone cabarets... must be all that woodgrain  :D)

Indeed that is (for a change) a pretty respectful hack that can be easily undone. Looks very nice condition other wise.

One word of warning (as a previous MC cabaret owner). IMHO you need the freaking-big trackball like on the upright to play MC as it is intended. The smaller trackball on this just makes you have to move your hand back and forth too many times to reach all corners of the screen which makes you not have a chance when the pace gets up.

If you don't care about reaching high scores, it's a cool game. The monitor has the same chassis as the Sanyo in my Nintendo. Shouldn't be too hard to fix.

[Edit] Just looked at that monitor pic, looks like a non-working PCB to me, not a monitor problem...

MC pcbs aren't that hard to find right ?

Good to know. I really suck at this game even on the upright so I'd better stay away from the cabaret version.
Or buy it and start a topic "Are you the worse around?".

I have also a hacked mc cabaret for sell. and it´s working with green baret.
unfortunately the cp is drilled with extra holes and the trackball and 2 cone buttons missing...

Is somebody going to get the Missile command?

It's still very cheap and i'm not going for it due to the distance (about €230 in patrol).

Pfff, I drove all the way to the southest part of Germany to get my MC cabaret.
Luckily I dont have to pay for most of the gas though :)

Ok, i made a mistake i thought that
a) I would easily be overbid
b) the city where it was was somewhere in the Ruhr area

:)

Anyway the best part of that three day trip was meeting up with the Speleo family !
And we spent  a nice day in Munich which is a very nice city.
And it was fun to get it running again, probably the easiest fix so far...
