Sidetopic: how do you deal with US people selling on eBay only willing to ship Priority? I get a lot of stuff from the US and people mostly use first class. Same reliability and exact same speed as Priority (4 working days US->NL), but the cost is more than 60% less.
Stupid thing is that when you pay import duty, you also pay over the shipment.
With high quality and expensive stuff all is OK, but 40$ Priority shipping for a "parts" item for 15$ is kind of crazy IMO.

Pretty simple: order elsewhere. You wont convince them otherwise, they dont believe that a mail system between two countries can actually be so reliable, Priority is one big hoax just to earn more money.

Problem is that it is a won item, with no detailed shipping costs mentioned in advance.

Always ask for a detailed shipping quote before bidding. It saves a lot of headaches (and money) afterwards.

Guided Missile with Lunar Rescue PCB

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Lunar-Rescue-Videospielautomat-1977-/270859061693

333 Euros and it says "Preisnachlass auf Anfrage", which means: ask him to drop the price
`Contrariwise,' continued Tweedledee, `if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic.'
