Yeah...although with the current insane Euro-dollar rate (getting VERY close to 1.50 (WOOHOO, keep it up guys, I want it to hit 1.60 when I go there :P), it almost becomes interesting to import them....

Damn, AndrĂ©, I've worked hard to convince myself at almost 99% that it was not worth importing 1 cab from the US and you're putting the doubt back into my fragile mind again... Well, so that you know, if ever by chance you make some interesting contact while you're there (even if I know it's not the main purpose of your trip), please take notice that I'm always up for a new crazy DLF arcade adventure involving huge black piece of (partly electronic) furniture shipped oversea. OK, that's definitely written in stone now!  :P

OK I hadn't read the text, and that too says it's original Namco.....I think I believe them !

Very cool but no artwork....CPO hacked....

The Japanese Xevious flyer only shows a cocktail...

 :o :o :o

Yep, it's a Namco.  Has the namco ID/serial plate under the CP.  It's a shame the original one-piece CPO/Bezel plexi is long gone.  Looks like the cardboard shroud around the monitor is gone too and the coin door is hacked.  Not to mention the two joysticks and added button holes :(

The Japanese Namco Dig Dug flyer refers to an upright cabinet, so there must've also been a couple of Dig Dugs in this type of cabinet made as well.

Sad, the other day I was watching the Tom Hanks film "Big."  Towards the end there's a converted Namco cabinet at the pier (to Ring King)  :'(

It's a proper Namco Xevious yes. Such a shame. I pm'd the guy asking if he had the glass and he said it's the original glass hehe. (which it obviously isn't).

Our vector kings already made the bezel/cpo/marquee, only the sidearts and the kickplate is missing for a nice Namco Galaxian. ;D

I don't think it's a Namco or Midway cab!
I've seen similar cabinets during my road trips, and I even get that one...

...with the idea to 'transform it' into a Pac Man or something, 5 years ago  ;)

If the shape is exactly the same, the sizes are not the same... too deep! (and an oversized control panel too on that one too)... It was easy for me in that case to judge, because it was during my 'Galaxian/Pole Position road trip, and the Galaxian was just side to side to this one  8)

But who knows? It would require more pictures to identify it  8)
