thanks for the compliments. I am very happy with the cabs... :D its nice to have a millipede here in europe.

I do not know...
I had only time to unpack the cabs and clean to bring it in my game room. The first thing I did the metal brackets from the coindoor and the backdoor removed, next to the holes closed and then install new locks, etc..
I will test the function later. the cabs are indeed from the United States and have 110 volts. unfortunately I do not now exactly what the better way is, to either an external voltage converter like to get it here:http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380225328891&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT, or whether it is in the cab would allow them to convert the voltage switches.

EDIT: a quick look in the manual at klov let me see, that i can use a voltage plug for 220 or 240 volts on the power supply. which voltage plug was the right one, at 230 volts? I am grateful for tips...

You need the blue (220) or brown (240) lug in place of what you have. They should be in the bottom of the cab ready to switch over.

thanks Alpha1! :)

I have look at the power supply, but but it's only a yellow switch there. no additional switches. argghh, that is no good. >:(
here a picture from the (still dusty) power supply:

Mhhh, what to do. Ahh! I take a look in the xevious cab, and i have found two switches on the power supply in there. the blue one was connected on the xevious power supply, the brown one was in addition. puh, what a luck, but can i take the brown switch from the xevious for the millipede? i am grateful for help!
Here the switches i take off from the xevious:

a closer view on the power supply shows me that on the plug the earth's cable is cut off. :o :o :o that was not normally, or is it?
here in detail:

I guess the brown one should be ok, in fact someone once recommended to me to use the 240 V ones if possible.
I would replace that power cord with a new one (always a good idea anyway) and connect ground/earth.

thanks Laschek!  :)

I hope it works with the brown switch and its compatible to all ataris.
I will replace the power cord before.

Simply check out the schematics and you know.

With moving one pin you can change a US (yellow) connector to a 240V one.

Be sure to mark it that it's for 240V now though....you never know where your machine will end up over 50 years ;)

yeah, or if you really want to be precise, use new brown wires in the yellow switch ;)

From what I can see, the artworks seem to be in very good condition.
Millipede is too nice to be stuck in a row of cabinets, you should put it on a pedestal in the middle of your living room  ;D
Congratulations man!

Speaking of Paul's nice cabinets, I was (and am still) very interested in Paul's Crystal Castles but the price is just... well... aouch...
