Pac-Txt
« on: October 07, 2010, 11:21:30 AM »
For all the people that have over 35/40 years on this forum, securely remember and played on C64, Infocom adventure.

A friend of mine pointed me to this site:http://pac-txt.com/
Pacman on Infocom (text) style!!!
Very interesting.

Happy playing.  ;D ;D ;D

Try typing "help" it will display all command:
"> help
Commands: (case-insensitive, short command in bold)
  forward [n] - Move forward n steps
  left/right/backward [n] - Move that direction n steps
  look - Look around
  eat - Eat current dot
  score - Display current score

not very well made then. I did "go left" "go right", "eat left", "wakawaka up", "munch right", "nom nom nom". The classic text adventures needed a verb as well and had a lot of silly quotes for other instructions than the bare necessities..

I tried "Play bugle" but it didn't work. That was the first thing I remembered about (semi) text adventure Dallas on the Atari 8-bit....

stupid, n(orth), s(outh) etc. don't work either, VERY essential in text adventures....
