Gyruss, is this your brother's first cab? Did you give him the FEVER!  ;D

I hope, he was already talking about the 'bad' shape of the cab and selling it to make a profit ??? >:(
My brother is a guy who likes new and shiny things, maybe some decals will chance his opinion.

Yesss !!!! What a story since the beginning of this order, isn't it?  ;) But it finally happened and I'm really glad to see you both having your 'dream' cabinet  :) ...and what a great cabinet 'Ms Pac Man' for the bro' as a first game!!! It may looks 'so easy' now, but not so long time ago, Ms Pac Man was almost impossible to catch here (I've to travel to UK for an empty one... and I was looking for one since few years)! Anyway, now take some great times for the restorations, and thanks for the road trip of course  :-*

Yes, thanks again Nuno! It was indeed a great story, and i couldn't be happier with my choice.  ;D

The ms pac man was a relatively easy fix. At first the machine didn't work at all, only the marque was lighting up. So i installed my working pcb and there was sound but no screen. After some investigation i found out a wire that was connected to the monitor fuse was cut. So after soldering this wire back, the monitor was working again.  ;D

The pcb was also easy to fix, just replace the ribbon cable and clean a few eroms. :D Here are some pictures:

As you can see this one also has the speed and inverted level hack.  >:(

So my brother is very happy with his cab, he wants to keep it as original as possible and already decided not to sell it.  ;D

Next up: Donkey Kong Junior.  :P

yesterday we tested the DK jr and the DK pcb in the DK jr cab.
At first there was no image on the screen with the DK jr. When we cleaned it up a bit, the game started, with sound, but there were no images of the characters on the screen. Everything else was visible, in bright colors.
Unfortunately the DK didn't do anything.

Yes, 2 bad my donkey kong pcb isn't working, but i already expected that .  >:(

Here are some pictures of Ronald Reagan his JR

The cabinet is in quite a good state, but the t-molding is wrong and the side art is missing

As you can see, no game characters. ??? The monitor is still very good though

The inside and monitor still need some cleaning

Sometime ago I read a troubleshooting list for DK pcb's. Do you guys know if this also applies for jr?
