guys, i need some help / input because i'm having some problems with the marquee lighting fixture. Sad

the thing is that it is working, but once i turn off the cab and turn it on later again, it isn't. what i have to do is turn the fluorescent tube by a few millimeters (and sometimes the starter) until the lights come back on. sometimes this takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r to find the right spot. i have already tried it with a different tube, but nothing has changed.

any suggestions?

btw, the ballast is brand new!

sounds like the problem is in the starter, or in the part where the pins of the tube turns and makes contact

Replace the starter holder and tube holders. Bad contacts. Cheap parts.

Just replace the whole light kit, they're only 6.00 usd here at any store like Wal Mart...  and they work great with no starters!   Wink     I hated having to jiggle the bulb or starter.

Yes it does.  This Old Game is planning on running a repro of it at some point.
