Following this AOE'83 report in Video&Arcade Games mag'  :arrow:



What's this story about a 'two-direction' joysticks used on a Dragon's Lair 'demonstration model' showed on the Cinematronics stand?
Did you already heard something about this  ???

Running the proto type laser disc no doubt, what happened to those earlier laser disc's, i know the proto type footage was found on video tape but sombody some must still have those proto type laser disc's??

I'm note sure but if I remember well, Jason told me that the proto is still owned by Rick Dyer.
But I'm curious to know if that proto was really working with two directions only  ??? It sounds very strange ...

Yes The Original Prototype (Blue Marquee) is Still owned by the Creator Rick Dyer, I had tried to prize this game from Rick for years, it is still in full working Order with its Original Wire Wrapped PCB, its stored in warehouse, The Early Demo DL had only a few Scenes, however there are a few collectors that Have the Proto Disc!! I have never heard about 2 way direction joy stick? Im almost sure this is not correct (My opinion)

Would have made the game 50% better (which still doesn't help much) because you have 50% less chance of dying at each move..... ;D ;D ;D
