GERMANY

except the great game that germany played this evening, the championships so far have been pretty disappointing. most of the matches were extremely boring, but the worst of all so far has been this

i've never heard anything more annoying than those vuvuzelas! they are ruining the whole event - they really are!!!
all i need is ... PONG - and a select few others: TOUCH ME, DRAGON'S LAIR, JOUST, ROBOTRON, MR DO, SAN FRANCISCO RUSH THE ROCK!!!

I agree with you. That is, on those stupid horns that sound like a horny elephant.....It's driving me nuts. Someone suggested looking though Belgian TV and indeed they seem to have turned down the higher frequencies of the ambient sound and it's more bearable ....
It should be easy enough to filter this shit out, I mean it is only one frequency that is produced....

Good game from the Germans, or should we say an extremely weak game from the Aussies ? Of course they have one of the worst Dutch coaches in the history of football. This guy Pim Verbeek also completely ruined Feyenoord (my favorite team) at one period in time. Were we glad when he left....

Well, we will know how strong Germany really is when they have to play against some real resistance :P

Well, of course i´m going to see vs. tonight, but giving the state the danish team, let alone the danish coach!! (why bring a striker who haven´t scored in two years!!!???) unfortunately i think Holland is going to kick our behind!  :-[ :-\

You still should support your team, and you never know what happens :)

And I'm actually a big fan of Tomasson since he's one of the best strikers Feyenoord ever had. And he scored 11 goals last season for my team. Not his best score, but the team isn't like what it was in his first Feyenoord period (around the years 2000).

And I will never forget he scored the third and winning goal in the 2002 Uefa cup final against Dortmund !!!

But indeed against Kuijt, Robben, Sneijder, Huntelaar, van der Vaart and above all Van Persie (the player that Feyenoord sold too early and too cheap, as so often !) the Danish defenders will have some serious work to do. However, our weak point (as ever) is our defense.

So let's hope the midfield and defense will be on the ball all the time :) My favorite player is Van Persie. The way he moves on the field is art !

It's been a loooooong time the Belgian team didn't make good result in these events (last good result was in ... Mexico 1986   ) .... so all my support goes to :

I am also a great World Cup fan and I have seen almost all the matches till this point.
Quit dissapointing matches I have seen although Germany was pretty good yesterday evening. And Australia played just horrible. That Pim Verbeek is one terrible coach. He is just everywhere in the slipstream of the succesful Guus Hiddink.

I had high expactations of England, but they played in a really weird squad formation and had a dissapointing draw

So today it's the Netherlands, hope they can score some goals like Germany did
