I will be taking/uploading pictures this evening. I have to admit, its in quite bad condition but nothing that isn't fixable. I was having issues with the screen (to me it seemed like the sync or horizontal hold was way off) as I got a semi repeating fast scrolling pattern. In tried to remedy it but noticed that after the machine was turned on for a few minutes some white "paste" was melting on top the highvoltage component. (excuse me if i'm using the wrong terminology here as i'm still very much learning this stuff! ) I found out about the melting problem after the screen faded to black. Its refusing to show anything right now.
I don't mind it not working right now as i assumed this to very much to be a big project. But i will definitely need some help as i'm quite the noob when it comes to (arcade) electronics, buttons/PCB's and hooking things up/soldering etc etc shouldn't be a problem. But I have almost no knowledge at all when it comes to CRT screens.
Ill add two pictures to this post showing the screen scrolling and the one where I highlighted the component where the "The Melting Of the Goo" (cool movie title!) took place. I'll probably be making a technical topic about the issue elsewhere on the forum.

Screen showing scrolling lines

Area where I found out the melting took place.
As I have said before, don't worry, Ill make a topic elsewhere filled with pics and updates on the restoration process.
