WTF !??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?Do you guys remember I had the High Speed II pinball machine ? I actually sold that to get enough space for this machine !
Mr. Betz told me that he had an EDOT for sale but someone was interested in buying it and he had promised it before telling me about it. So a bit later I asked if that guy had gone for it or not and he told me that the guy decided to buy it right away when he heard there was someone else interested in it.....no problem, I never regretted selling that pinball machine.
And now it is here again, on offer by Mr. Betz..............I guess he only tried to drive up the price with these tactics ? Not sure because he never contacted me about it again....
I'll also tell you that he told me the cab was in pretty bad shape and considering what he considers a good machine it must be really pretty poor....however I still wanted it, I didn't care which shape it was, I think this might be the only EDOT on European mainland.
I could have easily bought it back then with the money I got for the pin.....
Yes I'm a bit disappointed by all this because at this moment I promised myself to only get the cabs that I have around right now working and restored, which is a challenge enough as it is....
So...beware of Mr. Betz' trading tactics and beware that that picture is pretty likely NOT the actual machine. Even so: GO SAVE THIS BEAUTY !!!
