Who wasn't a fan of the great 80's TV serie? I was and I just discovered that I only have to 'use the net' in order to be able to see them again.  8)

Some of my favorite vintage TV series:

Cheers
Hillstreet Blues (those two were aired one after another on I believe late saturday night over here, that was when I still used to go and sit for a TV program)

Blake's 7 (TOTALLY blowing away Star Trek, Star Wars and all these cheesy Hollywood productions. The special effects were at least clumsy for then, and a joke now, but I loved the sinister, dark and much more realistic atmosphere. Esp. the setting up of a bunch of out-laws as the "hero's", those who never really trust eachother was brilliant. Of course not Blake, but Avon was the star of the series......

V (mousies !!!!!)

Twilight Zone!!!  LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I also very much love the "New" Twilight Zone that came out in the '80s as well as the short lived "UPN" Twilight Zone in 2002!

I ripped all the 80's Twilight Zone DVDs into my iTunes.... Now I can enjoy a T-Zone anywere.. on my laptop or iPhone.  Happy Happy Joy Joy....    ;D   I also plan to rip my favorites from the original T-Zone series also.

Well of course in this country where SciFi is very unpopular it wasn't even aired.
I have no clue.

I'd like to watch the original series first. I actually already have that on my HD....but no time to watch !

HAH, the doctor !!!

I was scared like nuts by the Zygons (never knew they were called like that, but long live Google....)

What I remembered was those scary slimy monsters that could view everything going on in some room remotely (hey, these were the 70s). I was a kid and remember I sneakily watched it but also didn't really want to but yet did.... :D

Of course the nightmares came with it....

Tom Baker will always be _the_ doctor for me because that's the one I "grew up" with....
But also the one who replaced him. That was that guy who also used to play in "James Harriot" (Think the original title is All creatures great and small" ?). For this, I never really saw him as the "real" doctor ;)

I remember there was a Dr.Who exhibition at Longleat the first or second time I was in the UK in the 80's.....the Tardis was of course there too....it looked nothing inside like the series....strange !
