I was stupid enough to upgrade to 4.3.5 so now I can't jailbrake until iOS5. O well, can't take long

I had the chance to play the iCade at the Eurocade. It sucked big time (for me) because there was so much lag that I could already grab my beer bottle again after firing a shot in Galaga and seing the shot on the screen. Unplayable for me. This is a gadget for people who are not used to play the original stuff (or a good mame cab of course). If you want the arcade experience this is not the right thing. I'd go for a small setup with LCD screen and Atom board in a simular shell. all in all less expensive than the iPad and this iCade thing. Just my oppinion of course.

I guess it's because of the bluetooth connection. They should have given Apple the money for the license to develop a real keyboard.

I think the connector is made for the power source of the docking station, and the communication is made by the "nearly" bluetooth of Apple.

Correct ... the connector is just for power.

And what about this one? Hope it is better controlled over BT than apple's keyboard. That one only does 4 simultaneous presses. Don't know if that is a BT restriction, or an Apple KB restriction. 4 keys with 8 actionbuttons is too little. You can't move in full action then.

Not by using jailbreakme.com or any other way. The jailbreak "developers" are waiting for iOS5 now....
