Zaccaria.....I think that's an official license from Namco, didn't we see one like that at the warehouse in Belgium ? It had Namco mentioned on the CP IIRC.

Yes, there is one at the warehouse, but it is empty. No monitor, no control panel, no game board and no harnas. Only a 'galaxia' marquee. But the shell is very nice. Owner wants € 50 for it.

But it's a great looking cab.

Just wanted to know if it was actually Namco licensed, which would be kinda'weird for a "super" Galaxian game, because it implies the original was "upgraded" in some way...

According to this it is faster.
We had such a cab, but sold it a few years back. Still have the PCB, though  ;) As far as I remember it's an original one with some daughterboard, I could take a look this evening...

I totally love the Zaccaria's, but I have one big problem with them: They are too small !

I bet (with ALL respect, please no flame wars !) that is because Italian people _generally_ tend to be a bit shorter than Northern/Western European people.

I seriously have to bend to be able to play a Zaccaria (or get a stool). It's the same with Nintendo (Japanese, also smaller people, again with_all_ respect).....

well, i totally dislike the zaccaria cabs, they are to color full, and there´s to much happen on the sides/kick plate etc...  :-\
maby i´m US colored....??

If anyone is interested  ;D

I just checked the Super Galaxian PCB, it's an original Namco one with three daughterboards. Two replace chips at "9B" and "8304", they are both identical and bear the Namco logo!
The third is connected to several chips on the board.
So is this really an official "hack"?
