Great! I'm up for a video too  :)

And change that dip-switch back to English....it looks just wrong in German ;) ;) ;) ;)

I agree! Or you'll have a 'screen burn' in German, like the one I have on my roadblasters  ;D

...not very sexy  :pac: :ghost: :ghost: :ghost: :ghost:  ;)

Congrats on getting it running so quickly. Were there PCB problems ? Also, I think there was a button missing on that one, looks like you replaced it.

No PCB Problems, I only replaced the big blue cap on the power brick, that's it.  :)
It had one start button and the coin door missing, I took those from a spare-parts Middle Earth pinball.

It actually is wrong german grammar  ;D but I leave it that way, all the Ataris we have are dipswitched to german if possible. I think it's cool because sometimes it sounds kind of cheesy  ;D

Ah come on, what's the difference if the screen burn is in English, German, French, or Spanish?  ;D ;)

.....YES !!!!

and change the code in the Berzerk speech ROMs to make it TALK Dutch ! (By the way Berzerk has a "German" setting too, but it only changes the settings-screen texts according to the manual)...

[off topic mode = ON]

Hey, this may be a nice topic idea... the 'other' languages in video games  ::)

Do you know the French arcade game called "Le Bagnard" (it means 'the prisoner'). I'm sure you all know it  ;)

Now check this youtube video, right here.

at 47 seconds ... a wonderful French voice : "ho ! hisse !" (it means "yo-heave-ho") ... and the best at 52 seconds : "aïe aïe aïe!" (it means "Ouch Ouch Ouch!")

Can you beat this? ;D

Correct!

"Le Bagnard" programmed by Valadon Automation in 1982 has been licensed to Stern for U.S. distribution in the same year, under the name "Bagman"  8)

One of the rare Euro games that got licensed to the US instead of the other way around.

Looping was another (German) one....

LOL, that's exactly what I wanted to write in the first place, but then I changed my mind because I don't want to start some dutch-german war  ;D ;)
