@laschek: why didn't you take the one which was offered to you on the american forum? well, i've made a reservation on that one now, hoping that we will be going to the belgium warehouse in february / march to pick up the machine. and in case the pcb isn't working or is missing, i already have a replacement pcb :).
all i need is ... PONG - and a select few others: TOUCH ME, DRAGON'S LAIR, JOUST, ROBOTRON, MR DO, SAN FRANCISCO RUSH THE ROCK!!!

So you are hijacking my wtb threads, you vicious bastard!  ;D

Sure, cutthroat action

Hmmm, too expensive? I think 80 dollars for a very old working pcb is an ok price. it's not a steal, but i'm absolutely willing to pay that kind of money as long as it's working. Of course, I''m pretty sure that's about 10 times as much as you've paid for the cabinet, right?  ;)

I really can't remember that you had an atari basketball! how about posting a picture for us picture-addicted guys here?

Yeah, 80 bucks is way too much for this PCB...
I can wait...   :D

Ully, you start to worry me, first you forgot about Tank, now you don't remember the Basketball cab??   ;D ;)

Here it is, apart from the CP (and coin door, yes  ;D) it is in rather good shape, everything is there except the pcb   :-\

thx for the picture, that's in you cellar, right? that cabinet is a piece of art, look at the monitor-bezel setup. but you have to do something about this control panel, i wouldn't want to touch that

80 bucks is a steal IMHO.

Those old B/W boards tend to be rare AND defective.

I've got an Atari Dominoes that is missing the board. I saw one for sale ONCE on E-bay. It went for over 100 bucks. Missed it because I too thought it was too much. Never seen another one for sale after that. Rare=expensive.

Working+rare=even more expensive.

It might look like the cellar  ;D but it's not  ;)
It's the room where Crystal Castles is.
You do remember that one, do you?  :D ;)

AND easy to repair, at least the Atari Boards, even I managed that a few times in the past (including an Asteroids Board), and I am by NO means an expert in electronics, still have to learn a LOT.

IMO, this is put a little too simple, it depends absolutely on what it is. There is stuff that is really rare that nobody wants because it's not considered "cool"/"a grail"/"classic".

see?  ;) that's why i reserved it!

yeah! that's where the pole position cockpit and the qix are in. perhaps i was too impressed by the size of the pinball that is in there that i forgot about the basketball. or perhaps i don't remember because we couldn't turn it on. difficult to do without a pcb, right?

I have never spent half as much for any PCB so why do it now?  ;D
(Actually I did, but I think on exactly ONE occasion  ;D)

that's because you've always bought your pcbs in bulks of 1000  ;)

That might be the reason, though not quite 1000s
