It's more that you need space. You don't want to shoot them with a wide-angle. So an empty 7x7 meter room is the minimum space required I guess.

Two new Atari books coming up.... Apple haters beware, Inside Atari will be (initially) only launched as an iBook so you better run...

Title: Inside Atari

http://www.insideatari.com/

The other will be a paper book:

Atari History Book - Volume 1 (Beginnings to 1984)

Can't wait !

Resistance is Futile: everything will be emulated. Even iOS. Maybe not today, but with 30 year old stuff, 2 years extra wait is NP.
I'll run that iBook on my 3840x2160 pixel Asus EEEPad 4 running Vintage iOSemu on Android 8.0 Taco Bean Sandwich in 2014....

got this quite a while ago! while it is a great book, it's sometimes a pain in the a** to read because of the way the text is set up (to close to the binding in the middle)!

btw, the author is already working on his next book (to be released soon) about collector's grails and extreme rarities. i'm too lazy to look for the link atm though ... :P
all i need is ... PONG - and a select few others: TOUCH ME, DRAGON'S LAIR, JOUST, ROBOTRON, MR DO, SAN FRANCISCO RUSH THE ROCK!!!

What about that nicely titled one by nonetheless than Martin Amis (Money, London Fields,...):

The facts that: it's out of print, the author never mentions it in his official biography and it sells for around 160€ on the net are enough reasons for me to want it  ;)

Introduction is by a certain Steven too:

...and a PDF excerpt from the book:

How much did it cost you if I may ask ? Is that the hard cover ? What is the shipping ?

I totally HATE websites that require you to first give your info before really knowing the total costs...like VAT and shipping costs....

I paid a total of 61,29 € for the hardcover version, and fastest shipping (which was 10,99 €)
Note that the book has been sent from... the Netherlands  ;)

Yes, blurb books are printed here in Eindoven. Too bad they use the #}$¥! expensive swiss post shipping. Why not a takeaway counter or plain 2 euro Postnl envelope shipping?

There was a LOT of discussion about the frot on KLOV too.... I think it looks amateurish too, but I'm sure the book is loads of fun.

The price is pretty steep though....

I just bought this book about the history of Atari:

http://www.8-bitcentral.com/blog/2012/atariBook.html

It came out recently and I only read good reviews about it. It is supposed to be the first part of a trilogy and it covers the Ataria period up to 1984. I guess the most interesting period.

You can also buy it Amazon.de (with free shipping to a lot of European countries). I paid € 30,01 for it.
