You won't hear me complaining about Marktplaats because it brought me my SW cockpit, MB, Galaxian, Centipede, Puckman and Mame cab.
I agree though, it's a whacky place. But we Dutch don't like to pay for things. So e-bay is no succes here for local stuff. Marktplaats is the big one here. Sadly (and naturally), e-bay bought marktplaats quite some time ago now, and they're changing things. Very slowly but they are changing. If they ever make it a 2nd e-bay, they will go wrong though, that would be the end of it I'm sure.
A couple of weeks (months ?) ago there was a SW cockpit advertised somewhere in the north of Holland, also with an internet picture. I e-mailed for pics, no reply. There were bids.Then all of a sudden the ad was gone and no-one that I know seem to have bought it....
I think there's some joker around who thinks it's funny to do this, but then I can't be sure.
Anyway, as always, check stuff first, ask pics, e-mail contact and then go and look before actually making the deal.
