what would you do? a lot of great classic cabs, but ...
« on: October 04, 2009, 09:31:56 PM »
guys, i need some input:
i've been offered a couple of wonderful classic cabs, including (amongst others) TEMPEST, TRON, MS. PAC-MAN, GORF and a PLAYCHOICE 10. all those games have been imported from the usa, they have been sitting wrapped up in a shed for three years now - so there's no telling whether they are working or not.
however, there's another catch: to get those games, i'd have to take around 50 other cabinets, mostly universal ones like TV IDEAL, HELLOMAT or ZACCHARIA. the problem is that the seller is "on the other side of germany" and it would be close to impossible (and damn expensive) to get all those cabs down here, let alone store them (i guess my "storage friend patrik" wouldn't be happy if i showed up with a truckload of cabs to say the least). i simply don't have the manpower (nor the money) to handle that kind of deal. of course i would / could sell a huge part of the cabs again (and possible even make some money out of it in the end), but i'm afraid that's too much for me to handle alone!

i've been thinking back and forth waiting for the divine inspiration :) but all i get is this

that's where you guys come in: suggestions, please  ;)
all i need is ... PONG - and a select few others: TOUCH ME, DRAGON'S LAIR, JOUST, ROBOTRON, MR DO, SAN FRANCISCO RUSH THE ROCK!!!

the seller's location is way closer to your place than it is to mine. we could easily pick up the cabs over the course of a day. if the van is high enough to put them in there standing, it shouldn't be too difficult!
