For me Defender, and the pinball Banzai Run (I have only 3) are precious, and who wants to have this precious have to pay the right to have one.

If same time ago one person that are in this forum too, request 1500 € for one incomplete xevious, why i can not ask for 2500 for one Defender ?

defender was one of my favs, too. i said it earlier... it is up to you. you set the price and i am sure that dlf is not your target market.

i am willing to pay money for my grails. i am sure others would do so, too. so i wish you luck with it. i really do. no joke about that.
Looking for Dragons Lair 1 or 2, Space Ace, Double Dragon, Robotron and yeah... a Shinobi would be cool, too!

are you talking about pauls xevious from 2013? well... take a closer look at the recent cabs. in c4 we had the xevious for 650 euros, shipping to germany included. just for the record. ;)

Guys, Europe is a free market. Prices can vary per area. Being a shop, overkill will have to provide at least some warranty and service and Portugal is a long way from north-west Europe. Even so, the market will dictate the price in the end anyway.

Dear Zamoth, i understand your point of view, but see my opinion.

I wait for more than 30 years for this arcade, in the last 5/10 years i try to buy one without success, the most near i can, is when i almost buy one for 1200 £ in UK  1400 € + shipping costs from UK to Portugal are 400 € (most expensive that send from Finland) then i lost one opportunity to buy one Defender for 1800 €, but as crazy i am, i tough that 30 years its too much then i buy 1 more later 2 Defenders in USA, the seller later told that don't pack the arcades, then i have to contract one company only to collect and pack and build a custom pallet, latter this company send the arcades for a wrong place and told me that i have to pay to return to his facility (thief person), more shipping costs more tax costs, more repair costs, improve boards with new 4116 drams, and all new sockets (All the ICS have now IC Sockets),(And i don't write everything that happens with this 2 arcades) when the total amount reaches the 4000 € i stop counting and realize that would be better that i bought the Defender at UK for 1800 €. But this arcade is my passion, and passions don't have price.

Isn't the first time that i make a bad deal, and unfortunately isn't the last...

If you see i never write in this topic that have arcades to sell and their prices, only reply for price comments of others.

Conclusion: I know that i make a bad deal and i now i have to lost money for this ?

On my side I hope you do not intend to do with arcades what you do with pinball machines: selling bulk of them at unreasonnable prices.

Arcades are for the moment not too much impacted by craziness and price inflation. Hope it will stay like this and that no "professional" will start making the prices taking off.

Not all listed...

And have near 30 pinballs that neither bill gates have money to buy. Do you know so many persons like one collection like that ?

And you, never sell one arcade ? Or you sell always loosing money ? If yes, congratulation's, but i'm not Teresa de Calcuta.

If i have one eshop it to sell, and if i want to sell, i want to win money, i just make charity to my employer (I don't win money enough to pay his salary with my business)

@For all - Before launching accusations, see who are accusing, i don't have age neither patient to read this type of comments, if you don't like the prices don't buy it. Its very simple.

I never tough that my eshop can bother so many people...

i was just raising questions about the 2500 euro defender. we all know that nobody here would pay nearly as much. and this got everything started as far as I can see it.
But i did agree the next day that it is completely up to him just like it is up to me to sell my videogames here at the price that I want to.

The reaction of him.... oh well... I have seen it before and I guess I will see it again and again. :) I am dealing with retail-customers since I was 18. Maybe that´s why I am a bit "amused" when I see a seller reacting like that.

Tyrem, probably my problem is that i never buy any of my arcades for a cheap price, i don't have friends neither contacts that give me very good deals, my best buying is the Xevious that came in the next container and only because they came in bad condition.

I think that in Pinballs, Portugal should be in 80/90s the country with more pinballs/person of the world, and for this reason its very easy (until same years ago), find good pinballs at a cheap price, but the operators in your arcades rooms in 80/90s almost never used original arcades, use a normal cab and change the pcb many times (jamma or others), only the first arcades until 82 are original and this original arcades goes to garbage or to fire (unfortunately) 20/25 years ago. Then in Portugal almost anyone have an original arcade from the early 80´s and for this reason the prices are very high.

If i can, i have 10 Defender's. If i want to sell fast, put the price in 1500 € and realize money fast even with loss, but i dont want to sell, and i only consider to sell if i win money, and if someone give me de 2500 €, i know that in the next day i will be a little sad.

Then you can ask, why i put the Defender to sell ? Because I am starting a new business and i have to put products on my supermarket shelf and preferably good products. To win attention and visitor's.

I'm not a Martian that arrives to planet earth 2 years ago and decide commercialize only arcades to win money.

I doubt that anyone from this forum when young have spent so much time playing in arcades roms like me. Was at the door before opening and had to push me out the room to close missing many times to school to dont stop playing. I'm 45 years old and i witnessed the appearance of arcades in Portugal from Pong to Defender and have a infinite passion to arcade from this time.

I'm not upset with anyone, and remains my invitation to visit my Arcade room.
