Haha, that video is hilarious!! Grin
The cashier really doesn't notice you're messing with her lol lol

I found it funny/crazy when you brought the Ms Pac Man to your DIY store, and now you've done it again + plus a little extra with the cashier! You are my hero Grin

Ouch, that's too bad it was right under a hole in the roof Cry
My cab was a little bit wobbly too (not to much though), that's why they put screws in the side near the control panel. Other than that, the wood is in good condition, not swollen and not too much damage. Except for the 'pedestal', I probably gonna have to make a new one. Should be easy, only 4 black painted planks.

Oh, you were a large group. I though you were only with a few guys and went to a strip club and blew a few hundred bucks there Grin.
38  General Chat / All the rest / Re: Forum policies/rules on: February 08, 2010, 02:07:39 PM
IMHO this forum needs some rules so that is clear for everyone who registers what they are and that they agree with them.

May I suggest to use these rules (maybe adapted a bit here and there):

http://arcadecontrols.com/arcade_message_rules.html

Esp. rule nr. 5 and rule nr. 10 appeal to me.

Rule nr. 1 is great too. It prevents a member to become called an Al-Qaida terrorist...... roll eyes roll eyes roll eyes

+1

This would indeed be a good idea to get some rules, especially because this forum is growing pretty fast lately. When there are rules there is no confusion possible whether some subject CAN or CAN NOT be mentioned/written.

Great! easy fix then Cheesy

Though there was a thingy blown on the ARII board...

That is a huge burn mark! So the game works 100% with that burned component (diode/resistor)?

At the shmups forum a lot of highscores have MAME or PCB next to them, so you know whether the score is achieved in mame or the real pcb.
I think splitting those will create too small lists imho.
41  General Chat / High Score - Are you the best ... around? / Re: POLL: Do you want a highscore section on this forum ? on: February 07, 2010, 10:56:27 AM
I think mame is the only option if you want some cometition, otherwise there will only be 1 or 2 competitors for certain games. About cheating, if you want to cheat, you can do it as easy on a real pcb as on mame if you really want to. But I expect a little gentlemenship from our group here Wink, and there are no prizes to be won either, so there's really no point in cheating.
Of course mame would only work well with the 2-4-8 way joystick games, unless you have analog joysticks, steering wheels, shifters, etc...

Screen photos would be nice for the highest score (if it's really high), for the average scores I don't think it would be necessary.

i all ready contacted Bruno about this, but im def. in! Space Ace

If there are lots of yes votes it may be an extra motivation for Bruno to setup the section Grin

I think it would be cool to have a high score section on the forum, so everybody could post their highscores for each particular game. I don't think we would need verification and such because I think we have an honest group here Wink.

Of course it's up to the admin who decides what he does with these results Wink. I would just like to know if there are more people like me who would like a seperate section for highscores. pacman Ghost

Nice score!

I like Andreas' SNK SC-19 cab a lot, it looks very clean Cool. He should repaint the Egret 29's though, they are too much yellowed...
I also spot a Megalo control unit but not the projection screen?
