Did you get that from Ebay a couple years ago? There was a similar thing with the artwork sold on ebay. If so, you were the one who out bid me  :P

Dragon's Lair / Space Ace / A rare opportunity

It seems Finny is parting with some amazing animation pieces on ebay.

There are 3 backgrounds for sale. They are amazing pieces. Two huge BGs from DL2 and a BG of the castle from DL1 (but is from DL3D).

This is a once in a lifetime chance to own a piece of history.

Backgrounds are very rare. Besides these, I have only ever seen 2 other BGs from the DL series.  I own one (got a real good deal on it) and I couldn't afford the other. In comparison to the ones I have seen, these blow the other ones away. Two of the ones for sale are pan scan BGs one is 5 feet long and the other is 6 feet long!

If you can afford one/all, I really suggest you buy it because you will never see anything that will compare to it.

How much do I have to bribe you to get included in your will? Or better yet, you want to adopt me? :) Those pictures are amazing. I don't think even Don has as much of his work as you do.

I love animation art. To me, it is just knowing that there is not another piece exactly like the one I have.

It is kind of neat to watch a movie/game and know that I own part of that scene that just past.

I have to admit I tend to get envious of people who own great cels and you should be proud since it is the best collection I have ever seen.

I vote that your museum be added to the 7 wonders of the world and to be bumped up to #1.

Dragon's Lair / Space Ace / The True Daphne...

I remember when they gave away the standup figures on the DL3D website. I entered but obviously didn't win.

The guy who won the Dirk put it up on ebay for something like $200 but got no bids. I guess that is the one that you bought.

Wow! When I die, the hell with heaven, I want to go there.

I am also an animation cel collector. From those pictures, it looks like he has an extensive cel collection.

Jason, if you have any more pictures, please share! :)

Your english is very good. I am the typical American who thinks the world should learn english. :)

Actually I am glad so many people around the world know english or I would be using  babelfish a lot more :D

I have several but they are just BS sites.
I have 2 websites for guilds on Everquest and 3 personal sites.

One in the future might make me a little cash to cover my costs. It is just a tourist site for several cities in the U.S.  I am learning PHP and CSS right now due to the format of the site. I've been yanking my hair out trying to add new pages to it. I've made some progress, but has been slow.

You did a nice job on the new look of the site.

I hate webdesign. It always takes me so long to do, never looks as good as I hoped it would and never works the way I wanted it to.

Dragon's Lair / Space Ace / Nude Daphne Pic....
« on: September 12, 2005, 04:26:44 AM »
Very nice drawing! I guess I have always been a bit of a perv when it comes to Daphne. Seeing a nude of her reminds me why I always liked her.

Since you said you had more, I would definately like to see an adult area (hopefully a little better scan quality than the above picture).

Keep up the good work!

Peace,

Brian
