Hey Bruno, I'm confused, is this the finished wall, or will drywall/gypsum board/other material be installed on top of all of this now that electrical is done?

Offcourse there will be gyproc panels.  :)

@Bruno:
Great progress and thanks for the updates!

Bruno lives in Belgium, yes? Where in Belgium?

If I am not mistaken he lives in the far south corner next to Luxembourg. About 300km from my step door (@ Antwerp).

Maybe you should also provide some electricity contacts in the middle of the floor. So you can still place about 4 cabinets in the middle of the V3.

1 Pengo  ;D Love love love this one. Used all my allowance on it every week when I was still a young lad  ::)

2 Donkey Kong Of course! Does that need explaining?

3 Kungfu Master Such a cool game! Made me feel like I was really kicking those bad guys asses  ;D

4 Ms Pacman nice game and I love the side-art

5 Kicker a.k.a. Shaolin's Road Didn't know there was a dedicated cab until I looked for it just now coz Muerto wanted pics

Pure luck but this is almost my top 5. Especially Pengo and Kungfu Master. Except 5 should be Gyruss.

I too wasn't a big high scorer but with Gyruss I manage to score almost 400.000 (I really could play that game for more then one hour and one coin).
The problem was that the Gyruss cabinets didn't hold there scores after you unplugged it. Not sure if anyone else got such score. But as far as I know it isn't a bad score. :-)

Isn't hardrock for pussies? :-) (yes, I had hardrock - sorry)

But the pin seems to be in mint condition. Great catch.

Galaxian Theater / Re: Bruno's Galaxian3 former location visit

Most foto's I took with the iPhone4 didn't have any good quality (didn't used the flash).
But here are the two most important. :-)

Two shots from a different angle of the former place of Bruno's Galaxian3 theater.
If I remember correctly the Galaxian3 was located at the back (a girl is standing in front of it).

And here a Pacman for four players. Didn't know this one existed. Very cool looking.

I will post them later today. But some picture are not very sharp (taken with my iPhone4 without a flash).  ::)
But the pictures of the former Galaxian3 place are nice.

Galaxian Theater / Bruno's Galaxian3 former location visit
« on: April 10, 2012, 12:45:45 PM »
This easter weekend I was at Blankenberghe and offcourse I visited the 'ones-biggest-arcade-lunapark' Sportland in Belgium.
I remember this hugh place was filled with 100s arcade cabinets and a lot of pinball machines and offcourse the Galaxian3 theater (the one Bruno's got).

The place is still very big but filled with a lot (and I mean A LOT) of coin dozers and some spares arcade driving machines. Also about 20 bowling lanes and next to it .. ... a bar/drink corner. That corner was the former location of the Galaxian3.

I will post some pics later. Stay tuned.

@Bruno: you will not believe what they did with that place ... a damn shame really.

Bring it on ...

Can't wait to see the next part.

BTW Maybe you should write a book too. :-)

BTW2 I too was stuck in the 1600km trafic jam (at Antwerp).

Speak with the guy today... rescheduled to ... 'somewhere' January  Hey! It was supposed to be done *before* the winter!
Well, he promises me to call me back by the end of this week with more details to give regarding the schedule! If I am not convinced, I will contact another company, but it will still waste time! I accepted his proposal SIX months ago :?

As I said before, no-one is interested for such a small job. They will ask a high price and if you do not accept, they dont care less. Most will consider this a job 'in between'.
Sad but thru

Is it just me or would other people too have expected that that stuff would have been torn down ages ago ?

Pretty freaky to still use it. Just MHO of course...

Was thinking the same. Strange such place is now used for pleasure .. what's next? Auswitch as a playground for children?  :-\

Topic mode on:
Great catch. I was a hugh fan of Pole Position (also on the C64)

On a side note:
Is there any one knows what the speech actually is saying? I mean, I always tried to focus on the speech in this game but never understand what it is saying.
