Hi folks,

Need some room, so I'm unfortunately forced to sell this huge "beast"
the cabinet is located in France (Paris)
It is in good shape regarding its old age (34 years !)
monitor works (let's say it was the case last time I've powered up 2 years ago)
spinner and spinner PCB OK, I also give a new extra joystick from Groovygamegear with it
all parts are original ones
missing game PCB but I can give a PC under DOS dedicated to this cabinet with Molex connectors for controllers- no need to cut any wires from the original controllers- and a dedicated hacked mouse for the spinner
feel free to ask any questions

asking 1300 €

no shipping
pick up only
more "technical" and precise pictures upon request
thanxx

well done Bruno !!
do you have more informations about the digitize process ? how long does it take ? is it able to scan the reel at play speed ?
Amazing how the whole stunt action looks "real". I could almost think not all the car were driven by stuntmen...

waowww.... What a treasure you found. I'm interested in all kind of cinema techniques, and this cabinet join both of my interests : arcade games and analogic cinema !!

so yes, i think it is 16mm reel with its optical sound track.

If you plan to replace old projection system by a more classic video screen (which I hope won't be your final choice !!) you have several companies who use this kind of stuff :

These are digital scanners that allow to "digitize" 35 or 16mm film reels.

I've got one. It's a very cool and sophisticated game !
On mine there is nowhere you can find the name Cobra. Did they have license ?

well done Bruno !! :)
glowing joystick, 3D marquee and bezel, amazing game including 4 buttons and a spinner : you just own the best arcade cabinet ever... And welcome to the very restricted "DOF owners club" !! :D
restoration of mine is in stand bye for now but you gave me the power needed to achieve my WIP !
can't wait to see your video !

PS : I'm interested in your "extra" T Molding if it's still available !
and if you want to "clean" your electrical mess, I have extra Molex plugs, the same plugs that were used in the original cab...
