I've been hoping someone would repro the Zac fireworks cardboard bezel. I shall watch this thread with great interest!

I want those glasses!

You can't pass this up! If you need any assistance with bidding or storage or anything let me know. (assuming you decide to go for it).

I think at least they're trying. I wish there was something like this where I lived.

Perhaps it is an opportunity for those of you that can, to offer to help them to restore their machines to their former glory. Since one of their staff is now a member of the board this shouldn't be too hard to organise.

They obviously don't realise just how important it is for these machines to be original. Perhaps 90% of the general public who will visit the place don't care either.

But let's be positive about this and try to help.

Wow, those bezels are a sight to behold.

Welcome Bruce

I'm sure that you already found a few nice topics here about Centipede restoration and CP artwork reproducing.

Reading those have been fantastic and really helpful. I can't wait to get working on my Centipede.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Hi, my name is Bruce and I just joined up. I thought I would say hi. I've loved reading all the road trips for a while now and hope to contribute some myself one day.

For now, here are a couple of pictures of my cabs. I'm pretty new to this hobby in terms of restoration, but I am learning, slowly!

My Zaccaria generic cab. I love this cab. I know it's not nearly as nice as the dedicated Zac cabs but I still think it's great. It needs some cosmetic work, I want to change the hacked CP back to one player and I need to find an original Zac coin door and marquee, but the main thing is that it works and I have been having lots of fun playing Kung Fu Master, Pac-Land, Track and Field and Yie ar Kung Fu (can you guess my age?!).

My second cab is a Centipede which I just got via eBay. The condition is pretty good and the side art excellent. I will replace the CP overlay and get new trackball and rollers etc. There is a little bit of woodwork that needs doing but now much. I haven't fired it up yet as the seller said the monitor wasn't working. Might be an easy fix, but we'll see!

See you on the board!
