Hi DN. Still kicking...so far. Hit the big 60 this year. Hopefully will be around for another 20 but that would be asking for a lot.

Haven't sold anything but haven't really bought anything either... Well except a real Dragons Lair.

If any collector out there wants to buy a LARGE and Unique DL collection, I estimate it is worth about 50k or so, let me know.

Anyway, I saw your post about the repo DL control panel. They are all way off on the purple. It is much more muted. Drives me crazy when I look at mine.

I have 1 full box unopened of 12 packs..

I got a full standard set (except 22. I have a 22 but not the standard card. One holo and one gemstone). Includes death and poster cards.

I have 2 signed cards. Palmory and Goldman.

I have a feeling that they are not really going to be worth anything.

I've keep tabs on here, just really haven't had too much to say. I see you on FB and am on your page.

For insurance purposes, I took a quick picture of all my cels. I still have to do all the odd collectables. The pics aren't that good but it is pretty complete. I'll post them when I get time.

Since I have had so many health issues, I have been considering selling my whole collection. I will probably have Heritage Auctions handle it when I decide to do it. If I pass, my wife won't have a clue what it is worth or what to do with it. I think my goal is to get it all together and cataloged and then auction it in about 5 years.

The A1up DL isnt bad. The sound is a little off. I never thought I would own a real DL. I started with a A1up asteroids that I converted into a skinned Dragons Lair mame machine. Then A1up came out so I got that and then I got a real one finally. I paid $500 for the A1up DL and ended up getting a real one for $1700. I am probably going to see if I can sell the A1up since they are selling for 1k now.

It has been a long time since I posted this. I have grown my collection quite a bit since then but has slowed down over the last 10 years.
Since I wrote this, a lot has happened. I got a lot older, I finally got married, I finally bought a house (with a game room/man cave) and I just bought a real dragon's lair.

I also obtained my favorite piece. The original artwork of the control panel!

I have also decided that my collection is pretty much complete. I have not only cels, but signed memorabilia, rare items, books, scrap books of articles, etc. I have obtained just about everything I wanted, except for a cel of all 3 with matching numbers, but other than that, it is complete. I have also decided that might sell the majority of it in the near future. If I do, I'll try to find someone that will buy the whole thing at once or put it up on HA.com. Knowing me, it might be years in the future though.

If anyone is interested, I can post some updated items from my collection.

Kickstarter failed but was successful on indigogo. All you were backing for 500k was a teaser reel so they could see if they could get investment for it. The teaser reel was made but they never announced if they found funding for the movie.

It is believed to be announced at the New York Toy Fair today and on their social media pages tomorrow. They are believed to unveil Dragon's Lair and Asteroids machines. I have the game Tempest that they did and I am very satisfied with the results. I think they will put out a good machine.

They are licensed versions so it is not a bootleg.

I was watching one of my favorite cartoons. Samurai Jack. I was watching an episode I had never seen before, s2 e8, Jack and the Farting Dragon. A peasant told Jack that when he gets to the fork in the road, to stay on the rocky path and it will take him to the Dragon's Lair. Jack said what happens if I take the other path and the peasant yelled to Jack "Space Ace!". :) Love finding references to DL that I never saw before, even if it is an old reference.

For issue #2 check the voltage and amperage that is going into the power supply. Most modern power supplies will prevent a PC from coming on if voltages/amperage is not in a specific range.

I do not have one of those but am a PC tech. I can't guarantee that is the solution but is one of the first things I would check.
