Back in 2nd of August 2015 when I saw the PIXELS movie for the very first time...
...I've seen that wonderful and huuuuge standee in front the entrance
...and I thought how cool this would be to have this such thing in my game room!
This is not the first time I got such standee, I got a Tron Legacy one few years ago, remember here
So I contacted once again the cinema and explain to my contact my huge interest about the Pixels movie in general (I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!), and that standee specifically.
Few weeks later, I got the green light to pick it up!
UTOPOLIS Kirchberg Rulez!!!!
Here we go, exactly one month later, 2nd of September 2015
It's less then 10 minutes away from my work place...cool!
He we are... the UTOPOLIS cinema complex, based in Luxembourg... the best complex around! I watch all the movies here since its opening, in 1996. Clean, secure, movies in original language version, and the best popcorn around!
So here am I, in front of the Standee...Christ, it's huge!!!
Cool... it's located in a discrete area... So I won't have to disassemble it in front of hundred persons!
I told you, it's really huuuge!
Disassembling process...
It took me almost 1h30 to disassemble it. I wanted to be extra careful and take my time to figure out how to do it in the right order, without damaging anything.
Oh, and because I was alone on this adventure, I had to walk over the entire cinema complex three times (in/out) with huge parts
But the job is done, and all the parts are now inside my car
No more Pixels Standee there
Did you spot that one? How cool is that, huh!
I would kill to bring that to my daughter, but as you can guess, such stuff is not available...
Anyway, me extremely happy...
...all the parts (and PIXELS posters bonus by the way!) are now safe inside my game room...
Next step, finding
Nemo a spot for this Standee inside the game room and re-assemble the beast!
