why not get regular t mold and trim off the spine, would that work?
 

Yeps, I could be an option, but because the original t mold is very narrow, I think using a piece of Atari vinyl (same as the one on Dragon's Lair cab') would be a good solution to try first. I just have to found back the roll in the 'mess' of my attic

Well, I keep most of the monitor boards inside boxes because like you say, they contain some working parts that can be useful one day , but I also trash some of them (the worst ones)

I alway put a sticker on the CRT in order to remember the good orientation   



Brand new... this CRT will only display one game : PLEIADS 



In order to protect the board, I've to fix a small wood plank... to avoid a contact between the board and the metal monitor frame :

Yes, 'Secto'  I buy most of electronic parts over there. The guy sitting on the back is very nice (I don't remember his name  ). He knows what I'm doing with the electronic parts  ... and I already ask him to show me the best way to unsolder at chip on a Galaxian board  You can talk him about arcade game 

Ok, now a quick cleaning of the bezel (very nice condition by the way) ...

An other thing to repair ... the coin door   



As you can see, the fixation between the metal frame and the door is partially broken 



It's a typical Midway coin door, but this one has some little differences (I'll show you in pictures l8ter).

Let's remove it.

I'm sure read you 'belgian' should be funny  'coz... that language doesn't exist  In Belgium we speak French or Flemish or German
 

Here's the broken coin door 



It's a typical Midway coin door except... the fixation. On this one there is no screw?!. The door is soldered to the metal frame 



- the green arrow shows where it has been soldered (the fixation is ok here)

- the red arrows shows where it's now broken.

I won't be able to fix that, so I'll use an other standard Midway coin door + frame, exactly the same than this one ... and of course I want to use the *dedicated* Midway/Irecsa logo metal plate.

Here's the common method for removing the rivets on it

Because I cannot repair it, I'll use an other frame+coin door I have :



It is 100% similar but ... full of rust   



Ok, it won't be a problem but it just add more work  Ok, let's start with the 'frame'   





The rust has to be fully removed 



I'm using a Dremel to access some area, like this

After removing all the parts, it's time for a bath 



After the rust, I've to remove the paint...
