These japanese toys look great too (and superweird of course).

While this thread is derailing anyway and since we're talking about tacky paintbrush art, here's what happen when a Jumbo Machinder collector gets crazy with his spraycans.
Aouch...
Very painful to watch for a collector, to me this is the equivalent of, for instance, respraying a rainbow and a unicorn on a Lunar Lander side art.

What are the standard measurements of arcade cabs most of the time?
To be on the safe side I would say something like 70cm width, 180cm height and 70 to 90cm depth but the sizes do vary a lot.

Alright lets ask the question in a different way. how woud you move 20+ games in one rush? Any experience/recommendations?
In this 21m3 truck I could fit 13 cabs including a cockpit and a weirdly sized EM game (and tons of parts on top of everything).

So in a truck for which you don't need a trucker license let's say maximum 14 regular cabs would fit.
(you can also rent a 24m3 without a special license but the only difference is that they are higher so that doesn't really help here).

Cardboards between the cabs are also a good idea because side arts against side arts during a road trip never gives good results.

Back on topic you little boys !

14 cabs in a van like that is surely breaking the loading limits. Lets say an average upright cabinet is 120 kg., that would make it 1680 kg for the cabs alone.......definitly WAY over what is allowed. but then again.....it's your choice :):)

I think putting all those cabs in a container and having it trucked over will be the cheapest option.

...and you're absolutely right André.
With a regular driving license (B license): "allowed charge weight + vehicule weight" must be <  3500kg
Oh well, we were young and needed the money so...

LOL !!

Yeah I know what you mean....I'm no saint ;)

However if anything would break on a rental van because of the overweight they may also hold you liable.

The thing is, all these rental companies are TOTALLY aware what people are using these vans for. I think moving homes is probably the most common use for them and people break the limits all the time for sure.
