Well, I could not arrange with the company that was originally build the roof  I'm now waiting for quotes from other "roof's building" companies.
Because of that, I've lost few months in this project... but still on the way

Here's some news :

Can you believe me if I tell you my wife called 6 weeks ago ... more than 35 roofing companies  Of course she didn't get in touch with a person all the time, but she left on the answering machines all the basic details (size of the roof, location and all the details to contact us back...)

Among these 35 companies, I got feed back from only 8 of them!
Among these 8 companies, 6 came to my place to take measures (the two other never came back to the appointments!)
So among the 6 left, I got so far only 2 quotations!!! Can you believe it!
And finally among these two quotations, one is from the initial personal I knew I would work with!

Yesterday, I gave my 'go for project' to him, the 33 other roofing companies can go to hell!

Conclusion : If you are searching for a new business, I strongly suggest you to create a roofing companies!

Had something a bit similar, but it was in the family, the (then) boyfriend of my niece would build my Gameroom. It took AGES to get any info, drawings etc. from him. Finally I was completely fed up with him and told him so.
Then I told this story to Ruud (we all know Ruud by now) who also has a construction business. Never seen anything go SO smoothly. Even though I didn't succeed in digging the trench in time, they finished that work for me and no problems at all afterwards. When it was raining they prepared the construction in their workplace then set it all up here. Everything was done on time and in good quality.
It was done before I realized it  

Of some companies it's amazing how they can survive, some obviously can pick their jobs....

Same story here when we wanted to change the windows in our home.
I went to so many companies and left them all a file with pics detailed measurement and so on.
I even called them back to check if they had'nt forgotten me after 15 days.
Only one answered back in time, they were the local company from my village, the very first company I had in mind to work with.
It looks like nowadays in Belgium you have to be very thankful when a builder shows up on time and actually do his work correctly.
That's just my experience after owning a house for 2 years and asking many price quotes (and not receiveing so many info in return).

that could be, but a little email or a phonecall confirming that, is not too much too ask if you ask me.

companies that dont even respond are in my eyes just rude.

example;

[CTRL-R] "sorry due to holidays we are too busy atm to make any offers on new jobs, maybe after the holidays we can do something for you" [CTRL-ENTER]

that just took me less than one minute..  get my point ?
