Ravs pile'o'cabs offers...
« on: June 03, 2011, 02:51:51 PM »
Hey Guys....
In my current purge I'm moving towards a state where I think its best to tout whats "on the shelf" and awaiting new homes. Nearly all prices are flexible, negociable and only a 1-2-1 convo via PM will work.
I'm basing shipping as using Martin "the Deliveryman" as he is the uber man of  deliveries and indeed we all need to support him to keep him on the road regardless that his prices has been forced up thru fuel surcharges out of his control! Expect an approximate cost of £80 per machine door-to-door... in the uk.... Perhaps when Ully comes in the summer he can take some back to germany with him??

Most of these machines have initial pictures at http://www.retrokade.com/sales but indeed Im happy to add more info and pictures when people enquire upon request! Also the prices are negociabe and a guideline but obviously a discount is available for multiple purchases.

1942/1943/Street Fighter
This is a USA capcom machine, originally a street fighter 1 but currently has its sideart removed and 1943 sideart, bezel and marquee installed. I have the sf1 bezel (a bit munched),pcb (untested), marquee if someone wanted to go sf1, but the real trick is SF2, i have a nos marquee, and sure i have a bezel and the cp which will fit. Just add pcb (el cheapo booty even!). If the 1942/1943 route is wanted to be preserved i have a 1943 cpo, but the pcb in the cab is dead for whatever reason - sorry about that.
£345

Bubbles
This is the only known one in existence, possibly a proto?? Its obviously made by the same people as the euro-Robys, this timepiece is quite unique! The game is fully working on original components, and sports a beautiful picture. The cab is complete bar the lower coin door, and the artwork on the control panel is worn like a euro roby, but plays like a dream!
£695

Centipede
Shell in a 7/10 condition. Have new side art, has new control panel rebuilt with lovely trackball. New bezel, pcb working alough i also have a millipede pcb with a multigame kit and adapter as an option (+£90).Apart from the monitor (which I can find or if new owner wants to spend +£350 have a nos one) this is a cab on its way to being a fully restored beauty.
Take over from me? £425 and it yours..

Elevator Action - UNDER OFFER
PCB and Cab working, original horizontal Taito Mk.2 cab. The monitor has a neckboard issue which I'm hoping is an easy fix as the display sorta has a transistor stuck on (its a g07) but the games visable, playable etc Nos bezel, nos cpo, this machines a beaut.
Hoping for £395
Alternative option is : Pacland
Taito cab converted with proper harness, marquee, control panel and pcb to Pacland. Would be the best way to get a pacland in the UK. I have the pcb (plus spare) plus the original parts for a factory game-change to make this happen. This taito is ideal as it's also horizontal as is pacland.
Suggesting £495

Flicky
An uber rare of uber-rare games. This Bally classic is in a convert-a-game cab and if anyone out there, like me , wants to preserve a dedicated Flicky with its artwork, game, fully working and trully worth saving, Im taking a hit at £495, otherwise it will be ruthlessly converted to a vertical game, up'n'down if someone doesnt save it!!!! All working, a subliminal title!

Joust 2
Also my USA joust is on ebay... But this is the next level. Very rare, fully working - has the exploding Williams rocks sideart proving its the rarist proto builds from what I know. I have installed a new monitor, artwork is impeccable. Just a rare game seeking a new home.. £785 takes it!

Juno First
A UK classic as forged by Junoman!  A great game. Ill fix it but currently in cocktail mode (its an upright goddamnit, stupid dips) and left on the joystick not working but again probably an interface issue. Genuine Gottlieb Juno First cab, mint artwork, 8/10 cpo, bezel etc and fully working. Love the game, but would love the space back a bit more... £825

Omega Race
Game pcb still works (at the last test), monitor dead. Price indicates sold with a spare vector to make good. Cab in beautiful condition. Often ignored its such a great game... Im looking for £425 for the cab, plus a working 19" vector to make it whole. Artwork is mint. A bargain for a trully great game!

Reactor
Cabs immaculate, trully a totem cab, and has a new cpo and trackball fitted. Plus a new switcher and adapter to replace the gopping original linear. On the downside Im awaiting a edge connector from the USA  to make a adapter to attempt to fix the pcb myself - i think its  a  minor ram issue but until I make the adapter i cant work or diagnose the pcb or be certain. So rare its expected to be the only European one.. I paid £1200 for it... Im open to discussions to its new home...

Road-blasters
An Atari great often overlooked... Cab still needs testing but mentioned here incase someones keen... £395 with spare mobo and daughter card...

Silent Scope
Currently has a power supply issue - Im about to buy a replacement but otherwsie considered a worker.. £185 steals it now and you grab a pc >20A switcher and get yourself a bargain!

Space Dungeon
This has been tagged to a Vaccer but maybe coming up for general sale as funds might be needed elsewhere. Robotron-esque this is a trully totem cab in the USA with its black and cyan taito sideart. Fully works, but has a slight sound issue - i think the amp(s) are sick as there is allot of crackles when your playing. Offerred at what I paid £825

Midway Space Invaders
Fully working, has a bad transisitor on the montior chasiss and so the screen has collapsed to  a horizontal line. £425 and its yours for a easy fix as the pcb is working.

Tokyo Wars
Twin sitdown. Has one bad pcb sayinga ram fault - I have 4 spares so Im sure it can be fixed. Feckin great multiplayer battlezone frankly... Just want a new home for it £405 presuming we fix it before it leaves

Virtua Racing
Half way thru fixing the monitor (vertical collapse) subject to me fixing it now the parts are here, am asking £285 for it as a full working upright...

Feel free to PM questions or offers... All machines visitable at my place near Portsmouth.. Feel free to ask questions!

Obviously answer any questions you may have... Regards R!

damn rav, why do you have to sell all those beautiful games? ;) :P

i'm still more than interested in that elevator action - can you put my name tag on it, please?

that reactor looks brilliant, but unfortunately it's way out of my (price) league right now. that intro music is a killer!

as for the omega race: do you have any pics of it? one of the most beautiful cabs out there, i might get weak ...

and finally: how much do you want for that popeye kit? i have an empty nintendo cabinet to fill. does it come with a pcb?

Perhaps when Ully comes in the summer he can take some back to germany with him??

i'll most likely be coming over in august (don't know when yet though). i could bring cabs with me and for example drop some of them off at chris' place on my way back if any of you dutch / belgian guys are interested. depending on the amount of cabs, i'm going to take the smaller or the bigger van - so space is not an issue! all you need to do is pay your rental / gas share!
all i need is ... PONG - and a select few others: TOUCH ME, DRAGON'S LAIR, JOUST, ROBOTRON, MR DO, SAN FRANCISCO RUSH THE ROCK!!!

No prob for storage here  ;)
Nice choice Ully, I was also looking at that elevator action, but I must focus on writing my roadtrips getting that gameroom ready asap!
(Ully you can see a bit of the omega race if you check the 1942 pictures).

Rav' is not so far  ::) ... I'm from South Belgium, so if you plan to road trip over there, it's certainly shorter than me  ;)

At this point Im relying on Ully to satisfy european interest in my machines with regards to shipping.. But get a decent quantity together Im happy to arrange delivery and make a holiday for myself :) But for now, Ully seems the best link between me and Europe TBH

Also a little update insomuch as I fixed the virtua racing onitor, and also took pictures of the omea race as people asked... I think the OR has suffered a bit as I think it now has a pcb or power fault... Make offers!! They all need new homes!

Regards, Rav

thx for the pics, rav, unfortunately now that the game is not working (anymore) this definitely decreases its value. seriously, how good are the chances of finding a working omega race boardset? additionally, would you really consider the game as being in beautiful condition with mint artwork?

But for now, Ully seems the best link between me and Europe TBH. Make offers!! They all need new homes!

come on guys, let's get a ravage bulk deal together!

@rav: do you have any other vector games for sale? ;D

Yeah its a shame abotu the OR pcb being ill...and open to sensible offers - I thinkt he cabs in excellent condition myself!

Vector games:
Ive just got in a cabaeret Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe - Ive added pictures at www.retrokade.com/sales

The Asteroids Deluxe doesnt have any sound currently but Ive just not had a chance to check with a different ar2 and rebuild it if necessary. I am assuming this will be working by the cabs sold.

The asteroids does work but the previous owner wanted to keep the pcb as he has a hi score save on it. Ive not started looking about for another working pcb - I know I dont have on at this point.

Other than that, I'm keeping my other vectors indefinately :-)

Oh I also got a Midway Pac-Man cabaret at the same time. The 4600 has vertical deflecion collapse but Ill repair this when the tranistor arrives. This one ha s agreat control panel, ok bezel, game works other than the screen but one big corner of the woodgrain has been peeled off - I'll be looking for something to fix this in time.

Again - offers accepted as they'll be on epay once theyre fixed...

Hehe....still funny to know that the Radar Scope parts here: http://www.retrokade.com/sales/?gallery=59&page=1
were once in my MB cab :D

It's a small (arcade collectors') world. :)
