Jup it has the same hardware as the MVS and plays the same games. But the aes version of the games is must higher in price then its MVS counterpart. Your better of getting a suppergun and a MVS board then a AES and AES games in the long run.

The AES was the home version of the MVS, cartridges are not interchangeable (different size), there was also a CD Rom Version:

Thanks for the comments, if cartridges doesn't compatible with each other, it's trash. ;D

You can get a converter to put MVS carts in it - but I don't believe all carts work - something like 90% compatibility.
