We were headed to lunch on Friday, We went on a few back roads to avoid red lights, and we saw this on the side of the road:

Let's Stop & Look!!

The arcade games were beyond repair, they were water damaged, One used to be a Stargate, the other a Joust. THe Pinball machines were totaled!
I did find a few things to keep:
A New Area 51 Sideart Set:

Even though I dont really like wrestling games, I couldn't leave behind a complete set of WWF Rumble Sidearts, CPO and Marquee:

This just goes to show, you never know where you will find this stuff! And arcade operators don't care about this stuff unless it is making money, if not in the trash it goes!

No monitors and PCB's picked up ? These look salvageable ?

Well, they might have been... but they look like they got rained on...
-
rained on, that's a good thing, maybee you won't have to bath them :D
-
Loads of people who bath or hose their monitors.....I'm not saying they will be fine but there's a chance....That G07 is at least worth trying.

but they look like they got rained on...
But then they dry, and they are probably ok.. You should pick it all up! :)
-
Nice trash find, congrats.

...it's maybe possible to do something with this one? It seems to be a Paperboy... but ... I see a driving wheel on the panel ???

It might have been, :'( I just didn't have the time to inspect, and the guy who was dumping it all out seemed to be mad at me for looking through the stuff. He started to hint around about wanting money for some of it, so I just got out of there. :-\

Waaah.. If I ever passed such a treasure, I would just give him fifty bucks and get a bigger car.
It's not easy living in Europe.. :-[

at least not when it comes to arcade collecting!

If he is dumping that outside............I wonder what still is INside !!!!!
Doesn't sound like a friendly guy, and in a country where people can shoot someone for just trespassing..... :D

Rain on pcbs isn't a problem, they will dry off. Go get them all.
Secondly, knock on the door and see what's inside..
