I scanned through the log - as usual it was quite thorough.  I may have missed it, what is the story with the sideart?  This isn't typically the artwork on Quasar cabs, it looks like the Space Pirate artwork, but faded. 

Is there an early version of Quasar, or is there some other significance?

I never seen the blacklight effect!  is it Quasar exclusive?

The black light I've only ever seen on Quasar. It's not on Phoenix or Scramble but I haven't seen enough of the vector games to notice if they have it.

I've seen at least one other Quasar with this side art. As you noticed, the colour scheme is slightly different from the vector games and Moon Crest IIRC.

what a surprise,

I have the blacklight in the Quasar, the Scramble and the Phoenix cab.
not in Super Cobra and Vanguard.

Cool! You can get new bulbs on eBay :) My Scramble doesn't have one.

At least one of my Phoenixes have that UV tube, the cardboard bezel looks awesome with that in the dark.
Will check it in the weekend and report back. ;)
