once again, another popular "how to ...???" topic ;)
here's the question of the day:
which router tool is the best for "digging" holes into wood for e.g. a coin door or speakers?
bruno always shows us THAT he is "digging" holes like on his gauntlet "workshop" https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=6.msg83#msg83 (https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=6.msg83#msg83), but which tool do i have to install into the router to do so?
pictures / item descriptions would be perfect!
Thx a lot :spaceace:

Good technical term there....dig :D
Are you talking about cutting a new coin door, basically a big hole in some wood? If you are you simply mark out the "hole" you want to cut. Drill through a corner of the outline then, using the hole just drilled, you can jigsaw (pendulum saw) the required shape out.

yeah, i'm talking about "cutting", but "digging" sounds like more work ;D anyway, i was wondering how this could be done with a router, since i don't have a jigsaw and i hadn't planned on buying one ...

Well, I'm using this one for 'digging' big & deep area

@bruno: so you're "digging" holes first and then use a jigsaw to cut out the shape?

i wish i had some serious hardware like that. instead i have a junior hacksaw that i cut my bits with on the floor. :'(

Just use a coping saw then, only cost a few pounds, if you are prepared to do it manually.
