Post by: speleo_de on May 30, 2015, 02:01:28 PM
Offered my backup EPROM Eraser... SOLD now.

- 100% working
- capacity 5 EPROMS
- runs on 12VDC
- with timer (currently set to 15 mins and can be changed)
- cable included to run from a desktop power supply

It's for sure no mass production eraser, but for now and then it is ok.

Best regards,
Andreas

Thats exactly the same one I got for free when my work cleared out the EPROM burning station and for me it was the most worth full part of the lot because I too had the cheap Chinese one before.

This one is much much much better in every way. For our hobby it is perfect, not many of us need to erase loads of EPROMs in one go. even if you have the Chinese one, this is a huge upgrade and for this little money, I'd grab it if I already didn't have one.

The metal body and electronic (compared to mechanic) timer are big plusses IMHO.

Mechanical quality is indeed very good, have this one, too. Unless you deal with a lot of big 16-Bit EPROMs, it is a very good choice.

My alternative is this one here:  (by the way, never ever for sale!)
