My uncle (the one who taught me how to do CRT set-up) just mailed me with this info, I really liked it and thought I'd share it.
He had a blood pressure meter (tester?) but the display had died. However the pump was still working and is really powerful so he hooked it up with a tube to his desoldering iron instead of the rubber ball.
The result was amazing he practiced on a double-sided PCB and all the holes were clean as a whistle :)
So he adapted the former case so he can control it with the original buttons.
He also said that before he once tried it with an air pump for a pont but that didn't work at all.
So....next flea market hunt..... ;)

That's great!!
I wonder how long it will take my wife to find her blood pressure meter gone??? ;) ;D

It might not be good for her blood pressure when she can't find it and learns that you "adapted" it a little bit ;);)
